Winnipeg is in Manitoba Canada and is east of Calgary and Edmonton and north of Minneapolis.

Winnipeg Street Sweeping Schedule

There are multiple ways to find your street sweeping schedule if you live in Winnipeg.

1. Check the signage posted on your street. You’ll see white signs with red lettering describing when you must move your vehicle for street sweeping.
   
2. If you live on a public street (and the city is responsible for sweeping it) you can find your sweep day by visiting this interactive Map: https://winnipeg.ca/publicworks/springcleanup/map.stm
   
3. If you live in a private community, gated community, or homeowners association (HOA) then it’s likely that your street cleaning is performed by a private sweeping company (not the city). Contact your HOA representative to find out the schedule.

Use the map below to find the progress of the street cleanup crews. Each spring there’s a 5-6 week cleanup period where crews will be sweeping and cleaning sidewalks and local streets and roads.

Winnipeg Parking Restrictions

Temporary “No Parking” signs may be placed on some streets to restrict parking when crews will be working. Please note that not all streets require spring cleanup signage. Vehicles parked in violation may be towed.

How much is a parking ticket in Winnipeg?
